Take eg if water. It has a tetrahedral structure and thus theoretically it should have 109.5 degree bond angle. Due ro lone pair bond pair repulsion bond angle reduces by 2 degree a d as there are 2 lone pair angle reduces by 4 degree and become 104.5 degree.
Similarly for nh3 , repulsion b/w one lone lair and bond pair bind angle change from 109.5 to 107.5 degree.
