Drained shear strength. The drained shear strength is theshear strength of the soil whenpore fluid pressures, generated during the course of shearing thesoil, are able to dissipate duringshearing. It also applies where nopore water exists in the soil (thesoil is dry) and hence pore fluidpressures are negligible.
i hope it will help you
