What is the end behavior of the graph of the polynomial function y = 7x12 – 3x8 – 9x4?

The correct answer for this question is:

x  →  ∞  , y  →  ∞

x  →  −  ∞  ,  y  →  ∞

In order to obtain this answer we should look at the highest degree and ignore other things.

And here our focus should be 7 x ^12

There is a positive coefficient in x^12 it has a positive coefficient which is  7.

at the same time if (x) goes to the negative number for instance the result will be positive because it has even powers which acts on (x)
