Unit of electrical power is kWh (in SI system). This is actually 1000 Watt-hour. That means if a 1000 Watt equipment runs for an hour it will consume 1 unit of electricity.  Now, 1HP (Foot-Pound-Second unit system) is equivalent to 746W. It is independent of number of phase of the motor. If the motor is run for 24 hours then total kilo watt-hour is -> 746*24/1000= 17.9 kWh  Thus total electrical power consumption is 17.9 unit for 24 hours.  The above is true considering that the motor has run in full load for the entire duration of 24 hours. For overload and under-load it will consume more and less power respectively  This is of 1 day. The same way u came check it out of an hour
