On panchami maa durga's idol and other idols are brought pandals and the faces if them remains covered. Then from sashthi to Saptami the puja starts. On maja ashthami, we give our anjali. On the evening, sandhi puja is done. Then on dashami, maa's idol is drowned in ganga and we wait for her to come again in next year.
