As we know formula for line or straight line is

y = mx + c

we're m is slop and

c is y intercept of line

Therefore by putting value we get,

y = 1.x + (-7)

y = x -7

x - y = 7

Answer:

y=-x-2

Step-by-step explanation:

slope intercept form: y=mx+b

y=-1x+b

find b: plug in point (5,-7)

-7=-1(5)+b

-7=-5+b

+5      + 5

-2=b plug b into original formula:

y=-x-2
