AnsWer :

16 Ohm.

Given :

  • we have three Resistance 3 ohm , 7 ohm and 6 ohm.
  • All connected in Series Connection.

Concepts Required :

Series Connection

  • When any Resistance follow only one path it said to be Series Connection.
  • Rs => R1 + R2 + R3.......

Parallel Connection

  • When any Resistance change own path two or more in different direction it said to be Parallel Connection.
  • 1/Rp => 1/R1 + 1/R2.........

Solution :

All three Resistance connected in Series Combination,

So,

 \bullet \tt R_s = R_1 + R_2 + R_3.....R_n.

Where as,

  • R1 = 3 ohm.
  • R2 = 7 ohm.
  • R3 = 6 ohm.

 \tt R_s = 3 + 6 + 7. \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = \tt 16 \Omega.

Therefore, the equivalent Resistance of this Circuit is 16 Ohm.
