+pandit jawaharlal nehru the first prime minister of india defined the obje of the policy of peaceful co-existence
these were, stated on 29 april, 1954 as part of thr india-china agreement
(i) mutual respect for each others territorial integrity and soverieghnt:
(ii) mutual non aggression;
(iii) mutual non interference in each others internal affairs;
(iv) equality and mutual benefit;
(v) peaceful co-existence
these five principles are called as panchsheel.
pandit nehru, geneal nasser of egypt, marshal tito of yugoslavia, kwame nkrumah of ghana and sukarno of indonesia are the founding fathers of this movement
