What is the exact answer for getting one head in tossing one coin 3 times?

Hi I believe you have asked for the probability of getting one head when you toss a coin thrice. We know probability of any event is
 \frac{number \: of \: favourable \: outcomes}{total \: number \: of \: outcomes}
Representing H as head and T as tail the total number of outcomes are

Out of these the favourable outcomes are ( those with only one head)

Therefore according to the definition above, probability of getting one head when you toss a coin thrice is
 \frac{3}{8}
