electric flux will be zero.

it is given that,

electric field, E = 3 × 10³ i N/C through a square of side 10cm.

we have to find electric flux through square when it is held perpendicular to E.

i.e., and between area vector and electric field is , θ = 90°.

from formula of electric flux,

Φ = E.A = |E||A|cosθ = |E||A| cos90° = 0
