heya folk!!
force is strength or energy as an attribute of physical action or movement.
usefull
The alarm goes off a 6AM; so you push yourself out of bed. And gravity pulls your feet to the floor (good thing otherwise you'd be floating on the ceiling). You push yourself forward to the bathroom by invoking static friction with your feet. You pull up the toilet seat...ahhh...then you push the toilet handle.
Then you pull off your jammies and push the shower curtain aside. You push off the floor and land in the tub where you push the curtain closed and push on the faucet to start the nice hot shower. You pull the soap out of the soap dish and push it all over your body as you scrub down. Squeaky clean you push the faucet handle to turn off the shower and push the curtain aside to step out. You check the wall clock, 6:30 AM and you're on schedule to make it to school and your favorite class...physics.
And there you are. I count 14 forces (pushes or pulls) already and it's only 6:30 AM. Think what forces you can use over the rest of the day.
friction is Friction is the force resisting the relative motion of solid surfaces, fluid layers, and material elements sliding against each other
friction useful friction between our shoes and the floor stop us from slipping. friction between tyres and the road stop cars from skidding. friction between the brakes and wheel help bikes and cars slow down.
