What is the range of first "n" whole numbers?

The first n whole numbers are 0,1,2,3,4,.........(n-1).

Here we took (n-1) as the nth number because the whole numbers are started from 0, so the nth number will be (n-1).

Range = Highest value - Lowest value

Here,

Highest value = n-1

Lowest value = 0

Range = (n-1)-0=(n-1)

The range of first n whole numbers is (n-1).
