b) The language of an Informal Letter must be friendly and casual.
c) An Informal Letter can have extra information.
d) The Subject line is not required in an Informal Letter.
The Format of an Informal Letter is as follows –
1. Address: The address of the sender is followed by that of the receiver.
2. Date: The date is written below the address after leaving one line.
3. Salutation / Greeting (Dear / Hi / Hello)
4. Body: The matter of the letter is written here. It is divided into 3 paragraphs as follows -
a) Paragraph 1: beginning
b) Paragraph 2: Main content.
c) Paragraph 3: ending

Informal letters do not have much rules or the language used like in an official letter.
1) Name and address at the top.
2) The date, so that your reader will know if it requires of him to reply immediately.
3) Salutation, as appropriate to the person you are writing to. Sir or Madam, Dear Sir or Madam, Respected Sir or Madam, or the name of the person if he or she is a friend or family member of your age.
4) Indroduction, identify yourself.
5) Use commonly used language, there is no need to try to impress your reader with excellent vocabulary.
6) The main body in different paragraphs starting with 1st paragraph mentioning the purpose of your letter.
7) Conclusion, your name and if necessary your designation.
