There are two types of complaint letters :-

(i) Complaining about a social issue.

(ii) Complaining about a commodity.



• In case of complaining about a social issue, the format is :

Sender's address

Date

Receiver's address
( Editor, Municipal Corporations, SHO, etc )

Subject

Sir / Ma'am,

Body of the letter____________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________

Yours truly,

( Name )

• In case of complaining about a commodity/product you bought, the format is :

Sender's address

Date

Receiver's address
( Name of shop or company )

Subject

Sir / Ma'am,

Body of the letter_______________________
______________________________________________ Mention vide bill number, date of purchasing, all the problems and inconvenience caused by the product and at last request to change or either repairing of product by stating the warranty period.
