first arranged the data given in question then
ascending order to descending order
cut first no. and last number till between or middle two number.
example;- 2,4,6,8,10,12,14.
here 10 is median..

Hi there!

What is Median?
After arranging the given data in the ascending or descending order of magnitude, the value of the middle most observation, is called the median of the data.
Formula to find the median :)
Method : Arrange the data in increasing or decreasing order of magnitude. Let the total number of observation be n.
(i) If n is odd, then median
⇒ Value of observation.
(ii) If n is even, then median
⇒ mean of and observations.
