hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

we know that area of a circle is πr² and circumference of a circle is 2πr.

to find the radius of the circle, follow the following methods.

let me give u some examples:-

1. the circumference of a circle is 88cm. find the radius of the circle.

circumference of the circle = 88cm

therefore 2πr = 88cm

=> 2×22/7×r = 88cm

=> 44/7×r = 88cm

=> r = 88/1×7/44

=> r = 2×7

=> r = 14cm

VERIFICATION:-

circumference of the circle = 2πr

= 2×22/7×14

= 44×2

= 88cm

hence verified

thus the radius of the circle is 14cm.

2. the area of a circle is 154cm². find the radius of the circle.

area of the circle = 154cm²

therefore πr² = 154cm²

=> 22/7×r² = 154cm²

=> r² = 154/1×7/22

=> r² = 7×7

=> r² = 49

=> r = √49

=> r = 7cm

VERIFICATION:-

area of the circle = πr²

= 22/7×7×7

= 22×7

= 154cm²

hence verified

thus the radius of the circle is 7cm.

so whenever u want to find radius u can solve like this. if circumference is given then follow the 1st example and if area is given then follow the 2nd method.

hope this helps u frnd..!
