the formula for surface area of a cylinder is (2pirh+2pirsq.)
pi means the sign of pi
sq. means the sign of sq.

Let base radius of the cylinder = r units
Height = h units
1)curved surface area of cylinder =2*pi*r*h square units
2)total surface area of the cylinder =
2*pi*r(r+h) square units
