n/2(2a+(n-1)d) is the formula to find sum
here n is no. of terms given in questiin
d is the difference between first and second term and a is the term eg.a ,a+d,a+2d

Answer:

[a+(n-1)d]

Step-by-step explanation:

In an Arithmetic Progression, a specific term is always a certain value more than its previous term except for the first term. The first term may have any value.

Let us assume that in an A.P. the first term is 'a' then the second term will be a certain value (say d, it is called the common difference of the A.P.) more than 'a' i.e. (a+d).

Again the third term will be (a+2d) i.e. d more than the second term.

In this manner, the nth term of the A.P will be  [a+(n-1)d]. (Answer)
