What is the formula of even numbers for median??

Step-by-step explanation:

There is a formula for this.

If it is for tabulated data( but not grouped) or untabulated data the formula of the median of even numbers is:

[(n/2)th +(n/2 +1) th term]/2

If it is for grouped data, we need to use an ogive and the formula is:

(n/2) th term.

In these two cases n is the total number of observations( for e.g. total number of students, employees etc)

Formula of even numbers for median is as follows :-

1.)If n is even, the the cf just greater than or equal to
 \frac{n}{2} \: and \: ( \frac{n}{2} + 1)

2.)If n is odd, then cf is greater or equal to  ( \frac{n}{2} +1)
