Here is the relation between Kinetic energy and momentum:-
P=MV
K.E.= 1/2 MV^2
After putting the value of momentum in kinetic energy equation:-
K.E.= 1/2 PV
After dividing and multiplying with M:-
K.E.= 1/2 PV ×m/m
K.E.= p^2/2m
