⭕️Plaster of Paris is calcium sulphate hemihydrate.

⭕️Its made by heating gypsum which is mainly found in Paris.

⭕️Plaster of Paris also called P.O.P is used for construction purposes.

⭕️It is used for making statues. Also, used in bone fracture, concert halls etc.

➖POP= CaSO4. 1/2H2O

⭕️When POP is added with water, it becomes Gypsum

➖CaSO4. 1/2H2O + 3/2H2O= CaSO4.2H2O (Gypsum)
