It's--

Y=(F*L)/(A*L')

Where,

Y=young's modulus

F=force applied

L=initial length material

A=area of cross section of material

L'=change in length of material after force is applied...

young's modulus it is defined as the ratio of normal stress to the longitudinal strain within elastic limit. I. e. y=normal stress/longitudnal strain.
y=f/a divide by delta l/l
unit =n/m squre
