The formula to find Potential Energy is as follows:

Formula to find Height in Potential Energy

As we know

                              E = mgh ....(i)

where,

E = potential Energy in joules

m = mass in kilograms

g = acceleration due to the gravity in meter per second.

h = height in length

Now to find height from the given equation, we have to slightly re shift the formula.

                              h = E/mg .....(ii)

From this equation (ii), we can find height if potential energy and mass is given. The value of g is 9.8 ms-1.
