LGBT is an abbreviation for Les Gay Bisexual Transgender.
It refers to the oppressed sexual classes of the society.
Les and Gay refer to Homosexual (Homo= same; Homosexual = attraction towards others of the same gender).
Bisexuals are those who prefer both the genders.
Transgenders are those who changed their biological gender.
Later LGBT was changed to "LGBT+" which included other groups like Pansexuals, Genderfluid, Asexuals etc.
