What is the full form of the word 'Sir'?

s7388: Actually the word "Sir" is derived from the French honorific title Sire, which is developed from seigneur that was used for the sense as Lord's as was used to signify respect to senior male, father and important elderly man.
s7388: i think slave i remain is self made explanation that is not elucidated anywhere well.
s7388: sir is used to show respect for someone if it has the meaning of slave then there will be no respect.
