It is known as dictyosomes in plant cell . it was discoverd by Camillo Golgi .
•It helps in storage, modification and packaging of products in vessicles, involved in the formation of lysosomes peroxisomes.

Structure of Golgi Apparatus:-
1. The Golgi complex is polar in nature.
2. The interaction in the Golgi memberane is responsible for the unique shape of the apparatus.
3. The Golgi apparatus is a major organelle in most of the eukaryotic cells.
4. They are membrane bound organelles, which are sac-like. They are found in the cytoplasm of the plant and animal cells.
Function of Golgi Apparatus:-
1. They are also involved in the transport of lipid molecules around the cell.
2. They also create lysosomes.
3. It mainly modifies the protein that are prepared by the rough endoplasmic reticulum.
4. The Golgi involves in the sulfation process of certain molecule.
Note:- (It is very important question and it must be come in your test and exam please be prepared and practice this question.)
Hope it helps:-)
