Reduced male gametophyte is called Anther, it is otherwise called as Pollengrain

Pollination occur by the transfer of pollen grain from anther to stigma of female flower.

Pollengrains germinates on stigma, a sugary substance ( Moisture and nutrients) secreted by the stigma induces pollen germination

The intine of pollengrain produces a pollen tube through one of the germ pore, the content of the pollengrain moves into pollen tube.
The pollen grains grows through the tissue of the stigma and style and reaches the ovary

Anther is the male reproductive Gamete in plants which is produced by pollen grains and its fuction is to get fuse with ovum to get fertilized .

The fusion of male and female gamete takes place at mycropile end, when the pollen grains fall on stigma it get burst and develope into a pollen tube which passes through style and then two male gametes travel through stigma to get fertilized at mycropile end .

1 male gamete + Ovum = Zygote
1 Male gamete + 2 Polar nuclei = Triploid endospermic plant, whoch nourishes zygote .
