1) Digestive enzymes are responsible for partial and complete digestion of lipids , fats, carbohydrates, proteins and various several minerals inside the body.

Example, pepsin is the digestive enzyme responsible for partial digestion of proteins.

Complete digestion of food takes place in small intestine by digestive enzymes.
