-it is made up of vesicles, help in manufacturing of proteins in contain ribosomes on its surface.
the functions of endoplasmic reticulum are as follow:-
- transport material between cytoplasm and nucleus.
- it provides space for biochemical activities.
- it has in synthesis of fats, steroids, cholesterol etc.
- it help in the detoxification of poisonous products.
some of the proteins and lipids help in building cell membrane and this process is known as membrane biogenesis protein also sent to various places in cell depending on need.
