FUNCTION
●Plastids (chloroplast) plays a vital role in the process of photosynthesis. They secret pigment called chlorophyll which traps the sunlight and then breakdown of raw materials takes place in the presence of sunlight to form organic substances/food of plant i.e Glucose.
● Chromoplast are coloured plastids that attarcts insects and birds for pollination.
● Leucoplast helps in the storage of starch, proteins and oils. They reserve food materials.
