Found below tongue and these are the smallest salivary glands (opens through Rivinus duct).
These glands situated just outside the buccal cavity and they secrete salivary juice into the buccal cavity.

↪These glands are situated just below the buccal cavity .
↪These glands secrete Saliva which contains a enzyme called 'Salivary Amylase' .
↪This enzyme helps in breakdown of Starch into Sugar.
↪Parotid gland :- This is the largest part of salivary gland. This part of gland is open through Stenson's duct.
↪Sublingual gland :- This is second part of gland which is open through Rivinus duct.
↪Sub- mandibular gland :- This is third part of gland which is open through Wharton duct .
↪Salivary glands produce saliva which converts Starch into sugar and thus helps in digestion.
