anal sphincter is a ring of muscles which kepts anus close. it is opened only during defecation..

Answer: Gastric sphincter is present at the outlet of our stomach. It takes chyme(food after digestion in stomach) from stomach and it slowly releases the chyme to go to the small intestine.
Anal sphincter acts same as Gastric sphincter but in the place of chyme it is undigested food. And it controls the passing of undigested food through rectum and anus.
