 Stimulates descent of testes into scrotum before birth.

 Regulates spermatogenesis.

 Promotes development and maintenance of masculine secondary sex characters like growth of facial hair, agressiveness, deep voice etc.

 Produces anabolic effects of protein synthesis. As a result, it stimulates muscular growth.  

 Regulate male sexual behaviour.
