Actually.. Diamond was the hardest element in the world until the science was at their level.

Since we are in 21st century and thus we know that science is getting bit stronger and more efficient..

Scientist has discovered that the few stones like wurtzite boron nitride and mineral ionsdaliete that came from meteroids or from space have a bit similar structure to diamond but are more harder than the latter.

It has been shown scientifically that ionsdaliete can withstand about 56% more stress than diamond and wurtzite boron nitride can withstand 18% more.

They exist very least naturally on earth..

The ionsdaliete forms when meteroids with graphite constituent hits the earth.

hi friend ........
here's your answer.........

Diamond is the hardest element in the world..
That's why diamond is used for a different things outside of jewelry.
The most common uses for diamonds outside of jewelry are for industrial applications. Diamonds are so strong , they are extremely effective at polishing, cutting and drilling.

In some cases, small diamond particles are added to drill bits and saw edges to make them powerful...
