what is the height of an equilateral triangle with sides that are 12 cm long?

We know that area of an equilateral triangle=√3/4*a², where a=side
area=√3/4*12²
=√3/4*144=36√3
Now, we can find the heigh by he formula-
area=1/2*base*height
36√3=1/2*12*h
36√3=6*h
(36√3)/6=h
h= 6√3 cm
