Blood is a specialised connective tissue.
Blood consist of Plasma and blood corpuscles. the blood transports digested food to the tissues and cells.
blood also access a transport medium for hormones. blood also transports nutrients like glucose,proteins,amino acids, nucleic acids etc
blood contains hemoglobin pigment that helps in carrying oxygen to all the body parts.
the blood corpuscles like leukocytes help in fighting against Many infectious bacterias and other foreign matter
blood corpuscles like thrombocytes help in clotting the blood in the area of damage so that the blood doesn't leak out.
blood also transports vital vitamins to all the parts of the body.
and hence the blood is very important for our body which if not present organism will die.
