Importance of DNA copying:-

Replication of DNA is an important part of sexual reproduction.

The major advantage of DNA copying it produces variations :-

  • During DNA replication variations are produced which helps the organism to adapt with the changing environment and surroundings.
  • Due to production of variation the organism doesnot loses vigour and vitality.
  • As DNA replication produces variation it leads to the very slow process evolution.

Besides there are some disadvantages of DNA replication :-

  1. If faulty DNA replication occurs it can lead to many deformities in the body (or) abnormalities.
  2. If faulty DNA replication occurs it will lead to many genetics disease like Muscular Dystrophy, Haemophilia, Sickle cell anemia.
  3. It can also result in malfunctioning of diffrent organs
