Day 1= on the first day of navrtri,The deity Durga takes up the form of Shaliputra who is daughter of Himalayas
Day 2-On the second day Durga adopts the form of Brahmacharini.   Brahmacharini is one of the many forms of parvati
Day 3-on the third day, Durga takes up the form of Chandraganta
Day 4- in this day Durga adopts the form of Kusumanda
Day 5-Kusumanda mata is another form of Durga which is revered on the 5th day
Day 6- Goddess Durga takes up the form of Kalyayani in the 6th day of navratri.
Day 7-Durga is venerated as kalaratri on the 7th day
Day-8  Durga is revered as mahagauri on the 8th day
Day 9- Durga adopts the form of siddiratri on the 9th day
