Judiciary plays a very important role in the Federal government for example if we take the situation of India the highest court that is the supreme court solves disputes between two States on different matters like water disputes ext. second one is that Supreme Court or any other courts help in law making . the Judiciary also specifies the jurisdiction of separate levels of government

The chief quality which helps thejudiciary to faithfully administer justice and to perform its functions efficiently is judicial independence. It is only when the judiciary works independently without any interference of the other two organs of the government that it can carry out its high responsibilities.
