DNA stands for deoxyribonucleic Acid. It is present in every body cell of living organisms.

It is important because it carries the genetic material from generation to generation and it is only because of DNA that we are able to maintain the genetic orders.

It carries hereditary information from generation to generation and regulate the formation of proteins. It is also helpful in determining the functionality and structure of the cell.

DNA stores the genetic information in the form of biological molecules. it is necessary for inception of life.

Along with these importance it is also helpful in the field of research for the scientists who need to conduct various experiments related to the Genetic diversity.
