2.It discusses thenational issues and seek the help of states and in case of state issues, it provides help tostates to solve their problems.3.It frames legislations andamends laws and constitution according to the present needs and circumstances.
4.It passes the budgets for the maximum welfare of the masses.
5.In cases of national emergencies and natural calamities it discusses various important issues for the well being of the nation. It is the supreme pillar of democracy which is the most powerful in the country. The welfare of the masses of the nation can be assured through the Parliament of the country.
