In the poem Ozymandias by Percy Byshe Shelly, an arrogant and a Selfproud king named Ozymandias was very much cruel towards his citizens moreover he even challenged the almighty about his strength and power. But after his death there was no sign about the kingdom he has made and the powerful King's statue is now just a trunkless piece of stone and his visage lies mixed up with the sand. What exists is only words that is carved.
This poem conveys us the message that time is elusive and no one can survive the ravages of time.
