Hey mate ,
C(n) = 1 + n( n+1) /2
= 1 + 3(3+1)/2
= 1 + 3×4 /2
= 1 + 3×2
= 1 + 6
= 7
Where n = numer of straight lines i.e.3
For finding the maximum numer of parts into which a circle can be divided with straight n lines
