- What is the least number which when divided by the numbers 3,
5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 leaves in each case a remainder 2 but which when
divided by 13 leaves no remainder?

LCM(3,5,6,8,10,12)=120

As it leaves 2 as remainder the number must be something in the form= 120x + 2

We will find the least value for x

120x +2 = 117x +3x +2

117 is divisible by 13. So x=8

So the number will be

120*8 + 2 =962
