Length of largest pole that can be kept in the room =
![\sqrt{?l2 + b2 + h2} \sqrt{?l2 + b2 + h2}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Csqrt%7B%3Fl2+%2B+b2+%2B+h2%7D+)
. =
![\sqrt{144 + 81 + 64} \sqrt{144 + 81 + 64}](https://tex.z-dn.net/?f=+%5Csqrt%7B144+%2B+81+%2B+64%7D+)
= 17m.
. =
= 17m.

given l= 12m;b=9m;h=8m
then we use formula diagonal of cuboid
diagonal of cuboid = under root 12^2 +9^2+8^2
=under root 144+81+64
=under root 289
=17m
