Question :-

Find the length of the square whose perimeter is 44 cm.

Given,

  • Perimeter of square = 44 cm

Now,

  • Let the length of the square be 'x' cm

Thus,

4x=44

=>x=44\div4

=>x=11

Verification :-

LHS = 4x

= (4 × 11) cm

= 44 cm

RHS = 44 cm

LHS = RHS hence, verified.

Hence,

The length of the square with perimeter of 44 cm is 11 cm.
