the ball poem is written by John berryman, in which he described about a child whose had lost his ball in the harbour, where he was playing. his memories, his chilhood was attached with the ball that he had lost. and the John berryman explain in his poem that there is no need to say the boy that I will give you another ball or a dime ( here dime is a 10 cent coin) , because the boy want that ball which lost, through this poem John berryman wants to say that we will lost the things what we have but we use to learn about the greif of lossing something.
