about people who says that they remembered their past or previous life , i think may be they re mentally unstable or they dreamed about it...

There is still no perfect answer to this but according to research, there is incarnation of life or in simple, the atma takes a new body to reborn as a human.
There are very few cases where some remember about their past life but till 4-5 years of their age. They describe it but their parents don't take it seriously and they think the child is saying anything.
According to scientist, they say when someone dies, the body becomes 21 grams lighter which is the soul (atma). It escape from one body and enters another body.
There was a child who described himself as a soldier of a near village who died when he was drinking water in a well. No one believed him but he said about his parents, wife and children. He said he had dug some money and when they searched it, it was TRUE!!!
The child was asked to search his wife from 50 women and he did that! ¡
There are many such cases but we can't give any perfect explanation or evidence for that.
