What is the location of hypothalamus ?

The hypothalamus is a small region of the brain which is located below the thalamus (a part of the brain that relays sensory information) and above the pituitary gland and brain stem.

It is about the size of an almond. Primary hormones like ADH, XOytocin, Vasopressin, CRH, GHRH/GHIH, GnRH, PRH are secreted by the hypothalamus.
