What is the main criterion used by the world bank in classifying different countries what are limitations of this criterion if any​

World Bank Classifies different countries based on the income.

Limitations

* If the population more then the country would earn more.

Eg: India has more population than Japan, But Japan is more developed then India though the population is less.

*It does not show the distribution of money.

*It does not show the literacy rates, infantmorality rates ,BMI etc...
